Melaka, October 2025 – Birkin International Hotel hosted a Blood Donation Day that united guests, partners and members of the local community in support of a critical cause.
The event took place in Ballroom 2 and was organised in partnership with Mahkota Medical Centre, the Lions Club of Melaka, and the Melaka Blood Bank. Over the course of the programme, 75 packs of blood were successfully collected, each contributing to life-saving efforts across the state.
Alongside the donation drive, Mahkota Medical Centre’s CKD and Diabetes Care Teams conducted complimentary health screenings and educational sessions. The Lions Club of Melaka extended tokens of appreciation to donors, while the Melaka Blood Bank ensured smooth coordination and delivery throughout the day.
The initiative highlighted Birkin International Hotel’s commitment to community involvement and corporate social responsibility. More than a one-day effort, it demonstrated how collaboration between hospitality, healthcare and civic organisations can create lasting impact for the wider community.
